Discriminant Adaptive Nearest Neighbor Classification

Discriminant Adaptive Nearest Neighbor Classification is a variation of k nearest neighbors where the shape of the neighborhood is data driven. The neighborhood is elongated along class boundaries and shrunk in the orthogonal direction.
