Statistical Methods for the Sujatha Distribution

Provides computational tools for the Sujatha distribution, including probability density, cumulative distribution, quantile function, random number generation, parameter estimation by maximum likelihood, goodness-of-fit procedures, and associated statistical methods for lifetime data analysis. The implemented methods are based on the Sujatha distribution proposed by Shanker (2016) .

Overview

SujathaDist is an R package that provides computational tools for the Sujatha distribution, a one-parameter lifetime distribution introduced by Shanker (2016). The package offers functions for evaluating distributional quantities, generating random samples, estimating model parameters, assessing goodness-of-fit, and performing statistical analyses for lifetime and reliability data.

Features

The package currently provides:

  • Probability density function (dsujatha())
  • Cumulative distribution function (psujatha())
  • Quantile function (qsujatha())
  • Random number generation (rsujatha())
  • Maximum likelihood estimation (fitsujatha())
  • Goodness-of-fit analysis (gofsujatha())
  • S3 methods:
    • print()
    • summary()
    • coef()
    • vcov()
    • confint()
    • logLik()
    • AIC()
    • BIC()
    • deviance()
